#159 - 2019 CLA Show Auction Donation

#159:  Scaled down pouch; part of an ensemble collaboration project headlined by Matthew Fennewald titled "Saga of the Longknife".  The full project will be auctioned at the 2019 Contemporary Longrifle Association Annual Show in Lexington, Kentucky.
Materials include barktanned woodchuck, alum-tanned woodchuck, brain-tanned deer, cowhide, and steel buckle.

Collection of Small Items

Some small items made for the upcoming Contemporary Longrifle Association Annual Show, August 18-19th at the Rupp Center in Lexington, Kentucky:


Miniature shot bags made from mixed materials;






Shot bag of textile and bone made by Clifton Hicks with a corncob stopper and patina by me;






Flintlock pan whisk made of woodchuck tail and overshot coverlet remnant, with a brass wire vent pick and waxed hemp cord.

No. 147, Collaboration with Shawn Webster

No. 147:  This is a collaboration between myself and artist Shawn Webster.  It is part of a set of items that will reflect the theme of possessions carried by a warrior in the mid 18th century. Participating artists include Brad Emig, Eric Ewing, Matt Fennewald, Alec Fourman, Tad Frei, Ken Gahagan, Jeanne McDonald, Ian Pratt, David Rase, Joe Seabolt, Shawn Webster, and Josh Wrightsman.  The assembled items will be auctioned at the Contemporary Longrifle Association Annual Meeting in Lexington, Kentucky, on August 17-18, 2018.  For more information and to follow the progress of the other pieces and participating artists: A Warrior's Clutch: Facebook Group Page
