No. 147, Collaboration with Shawn Webster
No. 147: This is a collaboration between myself and artist Shawn Webster. It is part of a set of items that will reflect the theme of possessions carried by a warrior in the mid 18th century. Participating artists include Brad Emig, Eric Ewing, Matt Fennewald, Alec Fourman, Tad Frei, Ken Gahagan, Jeanne McDonald, Ian Pratt, David Rase, Joe Seabolt, Shawn Webster, and Josh Wrightsman. The assembled items will be auctioned at the Contemporary Longrifle Association Annual Meeting in Lexington, Kentucky, on August 17-18, 2018. Based on architecture and signature, it is surmised to have been made by the Long family of makers or someone close to them in the Upper Susquehanna Region.
Replacement lock is a Chambers Southern Mountain.
