#73 - Open-top pouch with horn by Ron Hess
This is an open-top pouch made with tin-clothed antique ticking fabric and vegetable-tanned pigskin. The inside is lined with brown fustian and has a small hanging inside pocket, and a copper button. The strap is made from cowhide and has a brass harness buckle. The powder horn was made by Ron Hess. The base was turned from ash, and it has a turned antler spout and horn collar. Rounding out the set is a repurposed antique table knife in a center-seam sheath, a brass powder measure and vent pick.

Pigskin & ticking pouch with original horn
The flap and back of this pouch are made from pigskin. The front is made from pillow ticking that has been tin-clothed. The strap was made by Kris Polizzi. The original horn has a rosette carved into the base plug. An antique table knife has been re-purposed as a patch knife and there is a 45 grain cane measure. The flap is decorated with the image of a moon and owl.

Pouch with Mark Ewing banded horn
This bag/horn set is a collaboration between myself and horner Mark Ewing. The pouch is made from cowhide and pigskin and has fringed welts and a hemp lined flap. The strap was made by Kris Polizzi and adjusts with a steel buckle forged by William Bisher of Black Turtle Forge. The banded Carolina powder horn has a black walnut plug and an applied antler tip.

Barktan Pouch #3
This pouch was made for a member of my local black powder shooting club. It is bark-tanned deer hide with a pigskin welt and homespun lining. The strap was made by Kris Polizzi (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Kris-Polizzi-Custom-Weaving/206619746042859), and it has a brass buckle for adjustment.
