2018 Dixon's Gunmakers Fair

I was honored when a haversack I made for Shane Emig of Cabin Creek Muzzleloading was awarded a Judges Choice Award at Dixon's Gunmakers Fair in Kempton, PA this past weekend.

The Warrior's Clutch in Print and 1st Display

The Warrior's Clutch, a group collaboration to be auctioned at the Contemporary Longrifle Association's annual event, was on display this past weekend at Dixon's Gunmakers Fair in Kempton, PA.  It is also currently on the covers/inside of Muzzleloader Magazine, American Traditions, and Muzzleblasts.  I made the hunting pouch in collaboration with Shawn Webster.

No. 156: Materials include alum-tanned woodchuck, bark-tanned deer, antique coverlet remnants, linen, woven cotton strap by Kris Polizzi, deaths-head buttons, antique bone buttons, hemp; woodchuck tail and coverlet remnant pan brush.  Powder horn and antler measure by Matthew Fennewald.

Powder Horn Straps

Powder horn straps; linen and cotton woven by Kris Polizzi.  Mix of cowhide, barktan, braintan, and vegetable tanned deerhide.  These will be available for purchase at Kris Polizzi's table at Dixon's Annual Gunmaker's Fair in Kempton, PA, July 27, 28, & 29.
