#73 - Open-top pouch with horn by Ron Hess

This is an open-top pouch made with tin-clothed antique ticking fabric and vegetable-tanned pigskin.  The inside is lined with brown fustian and has a small hanging inside pocket, and a copper button.  The strap is made from cowhide and has a brass harness buckle.  The powder horn was made by Ron Hess.  The base was turned from ash, and it has a turned antler spout and horn collar.  Rounding out the set is a repurposed antique table knife in a center-seam sheath, a brass powder measure and vent pick.
